On April 21, the legendary musician Prince died following a medical emergency. Details surrounding the 57-year-old’s death are still being revealed, but the world has started to mourn with memories (like his love of all breakfast foods) and tribute performances.
On Friday night, Bruce Springsteen paid tribute to Prince to a sold out crowd in Brooklyn, New York. We found the performance uploaded to Youtube a the following day, and had to share it with you. Seeing one legend pay tribute to another is truly breathtaking.
If you enjoy Springsteen’s performance, be sure to check outAdam Levine’s rendition of Purple Rain as well. “The Howard Stern Show” decided to release the Maroon 5 frontman’s performance of Purple Rain online in memory of the artist.
(Of course, for a truly epic version of “Purple Rain,” one should look no further than recordings and videos of Prince himself.)
Please SHARE Springsteen’s tribute to Prince with all of your friends!
